CITIZENS COMPASS— The Epe branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), in Lagos State, will on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, organise a walk to commemorate the 66th Independence Day of Nigeria.
Take-off Point is Lagos High Court, Epe, at 9a.m.
The group disclosed this yesterday, in a special invite to participants according to its Vice Chairman, Obiamaka.Ajegbo.
It reads: As part of the “Walk for Freedom: Nigeria at 66” initiative, the Nigerian Bar Association, Epe Branch, invites all lawyers and members of the Epe Bar to participate in the Pro Bono Walk.
Members are expected to attend in their numbers as we come together to promote access to justice, support pro bono legal services, and commemorate Nigeria’s Independence Day.
Let us walk together for freedom, justice and dignity.
