Ogun FRSC promotes 57 officers

CITIZENS COMPASS— The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Sector Command, yesterday, announced the promotion of 57 officers across various ranks, reflecting the Corps’ commitment to rewarding hard work, dedication and professionalism.

The newly promoted officers comprise five Assistant Corps Commanders, 27 Chief Route Commanders, 16 Superintendent Route Commanders, 6 Route Commanders and 1 Deputy Route Commander.

Among the officers promoted and decorated is the Ogun State Sector Public Relations Officer (PRO), CRC Afolabi Odunsi, whose elevation further underscores the recognition of commitment and professionalism in public communication and stakeholder engagement.

The Sector Commander, RS2.2 Ogun Sector Command, Corps Commander Oludare Ogunjobi, congratulated all the newly promoted officers and charged them to see their elevation as both a reward for past performance and a greater responsibility to the Corps and the motoring public.

He urged the officers to remain disciplined, professional and committed to the Corps’ mandate of reducing road traffic crashes and saving lives on Nigerian roads.

The Sector Commander further encouraged the promoted officers to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating leadership, integrity and dedication in the discharge of their duties.

The Ogun Sector Command appreciates the Corps Marshal and Management of the FRSC for recognising the contributions of its personnel and wishes all the promoted officers greater accomplishments in their new ranks.
