Relationship coach, Blessing CEO in soup over medical report

CITIZENS COMPASS— Popular relationship coach, Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO, is currently facing a black lash following a medical report attributed to her.

The medical report has been circulating online.

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Delta State Branch, has authoritatively distanced itself from the report.

Blessing CEO has been enmeshed in a controversy following a trending on March 25 in which she announced that she was suffering from stage four breast cancer.

The video captured her in a pitiable manner whereby she shove her head and was soliciting for public donations for treatment.

The video also claimed that her new appearance was the aftermath of the cancer diagnosis.

The video attracted many sympathisers coming to the aid of Blessing CEO with financial donations from far and wide.

The donors were later taken aback upon discovery that the scenario was a prank.

In a recent development, the NMA in Delta State said the medical report circulating online was doctored.

According to the medical association, it was doctored from an original result issued to a different patient diagnosed with breast cancer.

The association made this known in a statement signed by its chairman, Israel Adaigho, and secretary, Usamah Hannah.

The NMA said the report in circulation was originally issued on May 9, 2025 by Xinus Medical Diagnostics in Asaba,

Delta State, to a patient identified as Mbara Deborah, not Okoro, following a referral from a private hospital in Asaba for a confirmatory breast cancer test.

“Xinus Medical Diagnostics is located in Asaba, Delta State and did not at any time issue any report to Blessing Okoro,” the statement read.

The association said the facility’s proprietor, O.A. Odigwe, a consultant pathologist and NMA member, contacted the branch to clarify the matter after the report went viral.

It said Xinus was contacted in May 2025 by a doctor from a private hospital in Asaba to conduct a confirmatory test on a possible breast cancer case for his patient.

The test was done and the result issued to the referring doctor as a case of breast cancer on the 9th of May, 2025,” the statement said.

According to the NMA, the original result, issued to Deborah through her referring hospital, was separately made available online by law firm Allen Juris Law, bearing the patient’s actual name.

“A copy of that result is the one being circulated online by the law firm, with the name Mbara Deborah as the patient,” the statement said. “The result online from the law firm is the original version issued to the patient through her hospital.”

The association said the clarification had become necessary “in view of what the altered report being paraded by Blessing Okoro is now being used for,” adding that members of the public “should therefore be guided accordingly.”

“The integrity of our association and its members is very paramount and should not therefore be taken for granted.

“We call on the authorities responsible for maintaining law and order to do the needful and save the unsuspecting members of the public from being taken undue advantage of,” it stated.

The development is the latest twist in a widening controversy surrounding Okoro, who on March 25 posted a tearful video announcing a stage four breast cancer diagnosis, shaving her head and soliciting public donations for treatment.
