Taxi man in trouble as NDLEA raids apartment, recovers illicit drugs

CITIZENS COMPASS – A taxi man, Godwin Ejiro. is currently in trouble as he’s been arrested by the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), following a raid of his apartment and the recovery of cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud.

The NDLEA Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this on his Facebook page on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

He said the suspect sells illicit drugs to young people, and hides the drugs inside plastic tables in his room.

Babafemi did not disclose the location but he said, “This fellow is a taxi driver but beneath that, he destroys the lives of innocent young people in the community selling them cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud. The shocker is where he hides the drugs in his house as the video here shows when #ndlea_nigeria officers raided his home.”

Recall that barely a week ago, NDLEA uncovered a secret laboratory producing Methamphetamine in the Ikeja area of Lagos state. Several sachets of the drug alongside chemicals used in the production were also recovered.

The operatives were said to have stormed the lab located at No. 4 Bode Oluwo Street, Mende, Maryland Ikeja on Tuesday 6th June, and recovered one kilogram of already produced and packaged methamphetamine. Efforts to apprehend the owner of the house are still ongoing.
