Teenager impregnates 10 girls

CITIZENS COMPASS– An 18-year-old apprentice has allegedly impregnated 10 girls in just five months, including his master’s daughter and a salesgirl in Anambra State.

The boy was originally sent to learn a trade, but within just three months, he managed to get both his boss’s daughter and a salesgirl pregnant, which led to his dismissal from the apprenticeship.

The situation worsened when he returned to his village. According to the state Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo, the boy continued his actions and impregnated eight more girls in his village within two months. In a live video on social media, Obinabo revealed the troubling details.

She said, “I want advice from the public because this one is beyond my capacity. This boy was sent to learn a trade at the age of 18, and within three months of his apprenticeship, he impregnated his master’s daughter and his salesgirl. He was sent packing. Two months after that, he impregnated eight other girls in the village.”

Obinabo also shared that the boy’s mother had visited her office to report the issue. She quoted the mother, saying, “‘Anytime I see a girl coming towards our house nowadays, my heart would jump, please, I need help.’”

Describing the case as beyond her, Obinabo appealed to the public for solutions, asking if the situation might be spiritual in nature. She added, “This matter is beyond me, the reason I want the public to help me come up with a solution. Is it spiritual?”

Obinabo further shared that she asked the boy how he managed to convince the girls, to which he explained that he told them he loved them and would marry them once he became wealthy. She emphasized that the problem was overwhelming due to the boy’s age and the number of girls involved, which is why she seeks help from the public to resolve the situation.

Obinabo did not reveal the boy’s name, his mother’s identity, or their community but encouraged the public to offer suggestions on how to handle the matter.
