…Tinubu replies Adeleke
CITIZENS COMPASS— Ademola Adeleke, the re-elected governor of Osun State, on Sunday assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of massive votes in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Adeleke gave the assurance while addressing journalists after he was declared the winner of the Osun governorship election.
The re-elected governor said the president remained a “son of Osun State”.
“At this point, I must deeply appreciate Mr President, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his strong support for a free and fair election. Mr President is a son of Osun State, and I hereby reaffirm my earlier endorsement of him for a second term in the 2027 presidential election,” Mr Adeleke said.
Similarly, Tinubu said Adeleke’s re-election is a testament that democracy will continue to flourish in the country.
Tinubu disclosed this in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The statement said that Mr President
had put a call across Adeleke to congratulate him on his re-election.
It further wishes the Governor great success as he prepares to lead the state for the next four years.
