Widow succeeds TB Joshua as church releases burial plans

EVELYN,, the widow of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Temitope Joshua, will take over the leadership of the church from her husband just as the church has released the burial plans for the cleric.

T.B. Joshua died on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

The burial plans would take place between July 5 and 11.

Former Presidential candidate, Dele Momodu, had posted a picture to Instagram on showing details of the funeral as released by the church.

According to him, a candlelight procession will hold on July 5 followed by a Tribute Night and Service of Songs/All Night Praise on July 5 to 7.

There will be Lying in state on July 8 while funeral service and interment will hold on July 9.

The funeral will be rounded off with a thanksgiving service on July 11.

The week-long programme will be broadcast live on Emmanuel TV.

The church had earlier said Joshua would be buried at the church contrary to wishes by the traditional rulers in Arigidi Akoko, the prophet’s hometown in Ondo.

Joshua’s 31 years old marriage with Evelyn was blessed with three children until his demise at the age of 57.

Evelyn, was said to have been serving as the second-in-command to her husband before his death.
