Yoruba Council Worldwide organises post election summit in Ibadan 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS – FEW weeks to the May 29, 2023 inauguration of new administration in Nigeria, the apex umbrella body for all Yoruba indigenous people; Yoruba Council Worldwide (Igbimo Apapo Yoruba Lagbaye) is set for a regional Dialogue Post Election Summit in Ibadan, Oyo State capital. 

The event tagged: Apero Oodua 2023 is slated for Wednesday 17th May, 2023 at the Civic Center, Ibadan, Oyo State at 10.00.a.m Prompt.

This event is expected to host leading Royal Fathers, Political Stakeholders and leaders of the various Yoruba indigenous Socio-cultural groups, with erudite leaders of thoughts led by the renowned Yoruba Leader, Evangelist Kunle Adesokan, Leader, Federation of Yoruba Culture and Consciousness and BoT  Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) Worldwide as the Key Note Speaker and Professor Mrs. Adufule Oshitelu as Guest Speaker, Chief Host, His Excellency,Engr. Seyi Makinde, Executive Governor of Oyo State alongside all Southwestern States Governors and Political Stakeholders,  the Royal Hosts are: His Royal Majesty, Oba Moshood Olalekan Ishola Balogun Alli and Olubadan of Ibadan Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Khalid Olabisi Oyeniyi. 

Others are Okere of Saki Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Oyemonla Azeez, Agunloye IV, Sabigana of Iganna Land and His Royal Majesty, Abdrasheed Akanbi Teluwo 1 among others.

He said, ” We expect all participants to seat by 9.30am, while appreciating out collective roles towards attaining positive landmarks targeted towards the noble development of the entire Yoruba Land, and by extension Nigeria at large is highly recognized and appreciated.”
