CITIZENS COMPASS– SOME fierce looking political thugs have reportedly denied a Yoruba couple their civic right
of voting in Lagos, because both have an Igbo look.
This occurred at a polling unit in Awoyaya area of Lagos.
The woman took to social media to express her outburst on the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
She was heard on video explaining that she is of Yoruba extradition despite her outlook of an Igbo woman.
Citizens Compass reports that when asked if she would vote the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), she replied ”Allow me enter first” and the thugs proceeded to lock the gate.
Some social media users have condemned the incident.

The funny thing is that, many of these guys are from Oyo, oke ogun, Kwara and other Yoruba speaking states but once they are in Lagos and they are touts they are automatic lagosian. let them keep spreading the hate we will all suffer the consequence
