Yoruba presenter, Aremu Raji dies, buried in Ikorodu

CITIZENS COMPASS— Popular Yoruba presenter, High Chief Aremu Olatunde Raji popularly known as Owo Oko Idileke, is dead.
Aremu Raji was said to have died of an auto crash on Thursday night on his way to Lagos from Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He has been buried according to Muslim rights in the Gberigbe, Ikorodu area of the State.
The indigene of Osun State, was an independent presenter with Tungba 100.9FM, Ita-Oluwo, Sagamu Local Government, Ogun State.
He was the presenter of a Yoruba investigative programme, Gbankangbi Iririaye with the radio station.
The programme was being aired on Wednesdays between 10 30 p.m and 11 30 p.m.
He attended Shams-El-Deen Senior Grammar School, Ikorodu, Lagos State
Aremu was known for his versatility and selfishness while undergoing training under the tutelage of a popular independent presenter, Ibrahim Raji popularly known as Akamara.
He was said to have anchored this week’s edition of his programme and travelled to Abeokuta, Ogun State for a function before the news of his death was broken in the early hours of Friday.
At press time, condolence messages have been pouring in from friends and colleagues of Aremu Raji.
Until his death, Aremu who was in his Fifties was the Odofin Isegun in Moro Ogijo, Ogun State.
