CITIZENS COMPASS— The Speaker, Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, Rt. Hon. Fatomi Dare Hammed, yesterday, commended the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for purposeful governance in the State.
The youths leader said this in a statement as part of the activities marking a year in office.
According to him, “All gratitude is due to Almighty Allah for His mercy and guidance. My journey to the Speakership was challenging, marked by criticism and underestimation, but today, through God’s grace and our collective effort, the YAN Osun State Chapter stands as the most ideological and progressive chapter among the 36 chapters in Nigeria.
“I sincerely appreciate our leaders and the Executive Members of the 4th Assembly for their steadfast support. From the onset, I made it clear that our administration would be driven by action, not ceremony, and we have remained faithful to that commitment.
“Despite facing opposition from detractors, we have continued to prioritize truth, transparency, and genuine youth leadership. Our stance against fraudulent activities by certain house agents in the state remains firm, and we will pursue this cause until justice prevails.
“My appreciation also goes to all security agencies across Osun State for their consistent cooperation and swift response to youth-related issues.
“I commend the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, for purposeful governance. We humbly request a direct communication channel for youth leaders to engage the government on urgent youth matters.
“As the 2026 elections approach, I urge all youths to remain peaceful, avoid manipulation, and uphold the law throughout the electoral process.
“As part of our anniversary activities, we will be reaching out to elderly persons in Osogbo, Ede, and Ada starting Saturday, 6th December 2025, as our way of giving back and strengthening community bonds.”
