Ogun Police hands over hostage Ghanaian, other Nationals to immigration service
CITIZENS COMPASS— The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, has handed over the eight rescued victims who were held hostage in the Owode-Egba area of the State.
Citizens Compass reported that the Anti-kidnapping unit of the Command had rescued the victims and arrested two suspects linked to a transnational fraud syndicate.
Citizens Compass reported that spokesperson for the Command, Oluseyi Babaseyi, who confirmed the operation said the suspects, Stephen Kwame ‘M’, and Abubakar Sulaimon ‘M’, were apprehended at their hideout in the Owode Egba area of the State.
In her update on Wednesday, Babaseyi said the Ghanaian alongside eight other Nationals were swiftly handed over to the Nigeria Immigration Service for proper profiling and immediate reunification with their families.
According to her: The Command again reaffirmed the Command’s proactive strength and strategic coordination, as the remaining eight rescued victims were swiftly handed over to the Nigeria Immigration Service for proper profiling and immediate reunification with their families.
