CITIZENS COMPASS— The Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ikorodu Division in Lagos State, under the leadership of Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has graded 20 roads in Lajo community.
The upgrading of roads has elicited joy among residents of Lajo Community Development Association (CDA), who have been pouring encomiums of the Council Chairman.
Some of the upgraded roads cut across Alafia CDA; Otugbuwa Extension CDA; Lewusu CDA, and Igbo-Agbowa CDA among others.
In a related development, a group named after the Council Chairman, HOA Disciples yesterday, distributed exercise books to pupils of three primary schools within Igbogbo Kingdom: AUD Primary School, Methodist Primary School, and UAMC Eleja Primary School.
The initiative was a direct expression of support for one of the Chairman’s key heart desires, prioritising education and making it affordable and accessible for every child in the community. Recognising HOA’s strong commitment to human capital development through education, HOA Disciples chose to align with the Glory Agenda by providing essential learning materials that will ease the burden on parents and empower the young pupils in their academic journey.
The book distribution underscores the importance of collective efforts in building a stronger educational foundation for our children. It reflects a shared belief that when education is prioritized and made affordable, the entire community benefits.
The book distribution was in commemoration of Aroyewun’s birthday which took place on Wednesday.
