Burial plans for Bamise, lady found dead after boarding BRT

CITIZENS COTIZENS- AYANWOLA Oluwabamise, the slain 21 years old fashion designer, who was found dead after boarding Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), in Lagos, will be interred in Atan Cemetery, Yaba on Frday.

Her family announced this in a flier on Tuesday

The Ayanwolas said she will be laid to rest in Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10am while Christian wake/service of songs hold on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Deeper Life Bible Church, Fatolu bus-stop, Ipaja, Lagos.

Time is 5pm.

The 22nd post humous birthday of the late fashion designer was held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Oko-Oba, Agege area of Lagos.

Her death had generated protests from various quarters.

Her family has since called on the state government to prosecute her killers.

Recall that Bamise went missing after boarding a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Chevron, Lekki enroute Oshodi at about 7pm.

Sadly, her decomposing body was found by the roadside on Ebute-Ero/Carter Bridge, Lagos Island few days after boarding the bus.

The body has since been lying in the mortuary.

She was to visit her elder brother whose wife was about to put to bed when she met her untimely death.

The bus driver Andrew Nice Ominikoron has been arrested and he is facing five – count charge before a Lagos High Court sitting in Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).
