CITIZENS COMPASS– A man identified as Oladeji Saheed, on Monday, jumped into the Osun River in Osun State.
However, he was rescued by sympathisers, residents, men of the Federal Fire Service, and O’Ambulance personnel.
The incident occurred at about 7am.
He was said to have attempted jumping into the River on several occasions and finally succeeded on Monday but was rescued.
It was learnt that the man lives without relatives along the bank of the Osun River.
He is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed medical facility.
