
Man reportedly drowns while swimming
CITIZENS COMPASS—A man believed to be in his forties has reportedly drowned while swimming in the Tagus River in Zorita de los Canes, Guadalajara, Spain.
He was said to have lost contact with a group of people who visited the area with him.
It was gathered that the man dived in the process but drowned.
The man was said to be in the water with another group of people who had lost sight of him, as he did not float, and they decided to notify the 112 Emergency Service at 4:09 p.m. Firefighters from Azuqueca de Henares quickly went to the scene and located the missing man’s lifeless body. Civil Guard officers, members of the Almonacid de Zorita Civil Protection Group, a basic life support ambulance, and an emergency doctor were also mobilized, who were only able to certify the man’s death.
