Missing daughter of Jumoke George found in Mali
CITIZENS COMPASS– Adeola, the daughter of a popular actress, Jumoke George, has been found to be alive in Mali.
This was after four painful years of separation.
The actress first opened up about her missing daughter during an emotional conversation, where she revealed that her 41-year-old daughter had been out of contact with her and the entire family for years. The revelation sparked concern and prayers for her daughter’s safety.
In an update, actress Biola Bayo shared that Adeola has been located in Mali. She explained that although Adeola hasn’t yet spoken with her mother, the important news is that she is alive and currently receiving care.
UPDATE! Adeola has been spotted in Mali. Though she hasn’t spoken with her mom yet, please tell her to call her. She’s currently in the hospital, but she will be happy to speak with her at least. I’ve tried calling her, but she has not been picking up anyone’s calls, and her mom is really worried,” she posted.
The search for Adeola was supported by the Child Rights Campaign, which helped trace her to Mali. The organization discovered that Adeola had left Nigeria in search of better opportunities and ended up stranded due to difficult circumstances.
In a voice conversation later shared online, Adeola explained that she lost her phone and had been trapped in Mali because of a violent clash between the military and Boko Haram terrorists. The incident left many dead, and she has since been without travel documents or any way to return home.
Biola added, “I finally got to speak with Adeola and this is what she said. She hasn’t called her mom but mom is happy she’s alive. @jumoke_george is currently at a state hospital in Lagos, hopefully she’ll be discharged or admitted after all her medical tests and reports, not sure yet.
“Thank you to everyone for the support….The love has been massive. I’m indeed grateful to you all.”
