CITIZENS COMPASS— A pastor in Bayelsa State, Leghemo Ebimie Tonmene, has allegedly defrauded her church members and many others of a whooping sum of ₦777 million.
The victims were said to be investors under an investment scheme nicknamed “Junior Baraza,” being managed by the pastor.
Sources said the family of Tonmene who worships with the Christ Embassy Church in Yenagoa has joined the teeming population of the investors to search for the pastor.
Citizens Compass reported that many investment platforms have collapsed in the country leaving many investors stranded.
