CITIZENS COMPASS –A Nigerian man has reportedly faked his death to marry another woman in the United States of America(USA).

He was saying d to have left behind his wife and three children in Nigeria.

However, the wife later realised that her husband of many years had used their only house as collateral for loan to perfect his plans.

The mother of three took to social media on Friday, to narrate her experience.

According to a post by a relationship adviser, Dr. Gbadebo Adeoye on Instagram, the woman’s husband had traveled to the United States for cancer treatment, using their home as collateral and selling their belongings to fund his trip. Despite her desire to accompany him, he refused, rather, his sister travelled with him.

After the treatment, he sent a text message saying he might not survive the surgery and the next was his death rumour

The woman was devastated, but later discovered that her husband was alive and had remarried in America.

In a remarkable display of strength and determination, the woman has chosen to focus on the positive aspects of her life, grateful for her children, a supportive sister, and a new job that has enabled her to start afresh in Lagos. She has decided to let go of the hurt and pain caused by her husband’s actions and is confident that with hard work and determination, she and her children will overcome this difficult situation and emerge stronger.
