The Military personnel was attempting to cross the drainages when he was swept away.
Many social media users on weekend, shared the heartbreaking video about the incident.
A Facebook user, JusticeCrack, shared the video with an inscription, “Moment Nigerian soldier was swept away by flood while trying to cross a drainage at Igbira Camp, Auchi, Edo State yesterday💔😢”
Another Facebook user, Emmanuel Ozioma, also shared the video with an inscription, “A heartbreaking incident occurred at Igbira Camp, Auchi, Edo State, where a Nigerian soldier was swept away by a powerful flood while trying to cross a drainage channel.
One of the videos captured sympathisers at the scene but this was too late.
