Varsity Dean dies in lone accident

CITIZENS COMPASS: THE Dean of Students Affairs of the Bayelsa State-owned Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Dr Ayasen Kemeakegha, has reportedly died in a lone autocrash.

The incident occurred at day time on Saturday, January 21, 2023, along Tombia-Amassoma Road in the state.

He was said to be the lone occupant of a Toyota Corolla vehicle with number plate, 06H 132 BY when the accident occurred and the car went up in flames

Spokesperson, Bayelsa State Police Command, Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, said the incident, said: “On 21st January 2023 at about 1445 hours, policemen responded to the scene of a lone fatal car accident along Tombia-Amassoma Road, Bayelsa State, and discovered that the only occupant in the vehicle, a Toyota Corrolla with Reg. No. 06H 132 BY was burnt to death.

He said the police moved to the scene of the crash when information filtered in that an accident occurred along the Amassoma expressway.
