Yoruba Indigenes Foundation felicitates with Tajudeen Olusi as Atobatele of Ado Ekiti 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS–– The President of Yoruba Indigenes Foundation Worldwide (YIFW), Dr Olumide Aderibole Philip has felicitated with the Life Patron of the Foundation, Chief Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, on his installation, as the Atobatele of Ado Ekiti, in Ekiti State.

In a statement signed by Mr Sanjo Olawuyi, the Director of Communications and Strategies of Yoruba Indigenes Foundation worldwide (YIFW).

Dr olumide said Chief Olusi is appreciated in the Ojora land, Lagos Island, so, it is not a surprise that he was given a new task regarded in Aramoko-Ekiti and installed as the Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti-State, Nigeria.

“The installation is not by chance but an attestation to the array of selfless contributions of Chief Tajudeen Olusi, to the development of Ado-Ekiti.

“Chief Tajudeen Olusi is one of the few living legends in Yoruba land. He is a lovely socio-economic cum political bridge builder in Nigeria particularly Lagos State.

“Being the Chairman of Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), the annals of Lagos State will not forget him for his stabilising role in the polity of the state.

“It is worthy of note that Chief Tajudeen Olusi, an Octogenarian, started representing his local constituency at a tender age. A veritable political history book has it that he started politics in 1962, at the age of 26. Then he was elected as a councilor in Lagos on the platform of the Action Group (AG).

“Interestingly, at the age of 89 years, Chief Olusi is still relevant and vibrant in politics.

“The Yoruba Indigenes Foundation Worldwide wishes you long life, sound health and peace of mind to enjoy your new chieftaincy title. May you enjoy the fruits of your labour, and be relevant in profering quality mentorship to the up-coming politicians.
