
AIG Zone 2 commissions upgraded Police clinic
CITIZENS COMPASS—As part of the effort of the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG In-charge of Zone 2 comprising Lagos and Ogun states commands, to provide a primary healthcare facility for emergencies that might arise in the course of duty to avoid complications and to improve the overall wellbeing of patients in the Zone, AIG Adegoke Fayoade yesterday, commissioned the upgraded Zone 2 Police Clinic, the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) can report.
In a press statement e-signed and released to NAOSNP by the Zonal PRO, CSP Ayuba T. Umma stated that, “The Assistant Inspector General of Police in-charge of Zone 2 Command comprising Lagos and Ogun State on Thursday 7th August 2025 commissioned the newly upgraded Zone 2 Police Clinic.”
According to the statement, “The CEO Haven Homes Property Mr. Sonuga Tayo who was represented by the Managing Director Ufuoma Ilesanmi said the upgrade is aimed at improving the overall wellbeing of patients in the Zone by providing quality healthcare services. It serves as a primary healthcare facility for emergencies that might arise in the course of duty to avoid complications.”
“The AIG while commending the management of Haven Homes Property for its generosity added that it is encouraging to know that the public appreciates and are willing to support the Police for an effective service delivery. This medical support provides a huge morale boost to personnel of the Zone 2 Command.”
“Some of the items supplied to the clinic are: 2 Sets of Split Unit Air Conditioners, 4 Intensive Care Unit Hospital Beds, Iron Weighing Balance, Auto Clave, Pulse Oximeter, Sphygmomanometer, X-Ray Viewing Screen amongst others.”
