…Urges Nigerians to vote for Tinubu

CITIZENS COMPASS— Apapa Local Government in Lagos State on Tuesday, organised the third phase of its empowerment programme for indigent residents.
Under the scheme, the council aims to empower about 4,000 indigent residents within a period of one year.
Apapa Local Government is under the leadership of Hon. Idowu Adejumoke Sebanjo.
The empowerment programme tagged, “Apapa Constituency Residence Palliative Economic Generic Data (ACREPEGED)”, was held at the Council’s secretariat where every beneficiary received the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000).
The Council widely known as the Port City Council, held the first phase of the empowerment programme on Friday, March 6, 2026.
In attendance were Senbajo’s team alongside market leaders of the Apapa local government popularly known as The Port City.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Senbajo said the empowerment also covers the health insurance scheme of the beneficiaries urging them to make good use of this.
The Council Chairman said the exercise was courtesy of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sebanjo urged Nigerians to vote for Tinubu during the 2027 general elections.
According to her: Thank God for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for making this initiative possible. Through him, Apapa Local Government has impacted many lives including students. Some schools within this local government have benefitted from the distribution of free textbooks and a conducive environment with the provision of drinkable water to mention but a few.
All thanks to Mr President for making this possible.

Nigerians should cast their votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has all it takes to move the nation forward
Let us all do our bit for the betterment of Nigeria.
The council chairman advised the beneficiaries to ensure that their names tally with their Bank Verification Numbers (BVN) as this was a major prerequisite for the N100,000 empowerment.
Sebanjo thanked the agency in charge of the health insurance scheme, the Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) for a job welldone.
Also speaking, the Council Manager, Oluwatoyin Adebanji, said: You are benefiting from this government because some people pay their taxes as at when due, so, you must justify this by putting it into good use.
Among the beneficiaries were Anthonia Izegboya Aileme and Esther Omoyeni Patrick amongst others.
