
EID AL-KABIR:Yoruba Indigenes Foundation urges Muslims to network
CITIZENS COMPASS– The Yoruba Indigenes Foundation (YIF) Worldwide, on Friday, called Muslim Faithful to seize the occasion of the Eil-El-Kabir to network on available opportunities for the transformation of Yorubaland.
The President of the Foundation, Dr Olumide Aderibole Philip, made the call in a statement signed by Mr Sanjo Olawuyi, YIF Director of Communications and Strategies.
It reads,”On behalf of the Board of Trustees, The Executives and The Advisory Council of the foundation, felicitate with our numerous Yoruba Muslim brothers and sisters, in Nigeria and the diaspora.
“We thank Allah, for giving us the grace to witness this year’s Eid AL-KABIR with sound health, prosperity, happiness and sound mind.
“The Yoruba Indigenes Foundation Worldwide, acknowledges the fact that today is a special day in the Islamic world.
“It is a unique day that is globally known for: feasting, generosity, merriments, pleasantries, networking, sacrifice and devotion.
“Let charity and generousity be empirically felt, by the less privileged, in your neighborhood.
“We urge you not to relent in praying for peace, unity, stability and progress on Yoruba land.”
