I will work with CDC—LG Chairmanship candidate, Hammed Aroyewun 

…As CDC Zone 4 endorses candidature

 

CITIZENS COMPASS—Ahead of the Local Government election in Lagos State, on July 12, 2015, the Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Ikorodu, Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun popularly known as HOA, on Sunday, promised to ensure a direct relationship with the Community Development Committee (CDC) if elected on July 12, 2025.

This is just as he was endorsed by the CDC Zone 4 of the LCDA.

Aroyewun was endorsed alongside Princess Saidat Adeoba as the councillorship candidate for Ward C3 of the LCDA.

The Chairmanship candidate said working with the CDC will ensure regular receipt and management of feedback, collaboration, and sustained progress across all communities.

Addressing the residents, he said, “Directly working with the CDC will ensure an inclusive governance to ensure regular receipt and management of feedback, collaboration, and sustained progress across all communities.”

He emphasized that the progress of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA depends heavily on mutual trust and constant dialogue with key local structures like the CDC.

Also speaking, Princess Saidat Adeoba reiterated her resolve to work hand-in-hand with the people, if elected. She pledged her loyalty to the community’s interests.

The candidates are vying for the positions under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The endorsement took place at Ayinke Event Center, Macaulay, in the presence of CDC Chairman in the LCDA, Alhaji Razak ibiyeye, Zonal Chairman, Prince Femi Adelaja, Secretary, Lanre Obanisola, Baale of Ilado Community, Chief Sharafadeen Tijani, and other prominent community leaders.
