The disturbing video sparked controversy over the weekend as some social media influencers have lampooned the motorist who sped off after snatching the money.
The footage, which has garnered widespread attention, captured the beggar, already holding money in her hands, approaching the car as it slowed down but rather than adding to the money, he swiftly reached out and grabbed it from her hand before hastily driving off.
