Oba Adeboruwa Estate defeats Adegbose FC at Igbogbo-Baiyeku football competition

CITIZENS COMPASS –The football club of Oba Adeboruwa Estate in the Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, defeated the Adegbose FC with One goal to Zero during the ongoing football competition organised by the LCDA.

The Wednesday’s match took place at the United African Methodist Church (Eleja), Igbogbo with many football fans including the Council boss, Olusesan Dani in attendance.

Team Oba Adeboruwa Estate scored the goal in the 85th minute of the match thereby defeating Adegbose FC which scored Zero goals.

A striker from the winning team, Iremide Ayomide emerged as the Most Valuable Player and was presented with a N25,000 prize.

The Council Chairman made the presentation.

Recall that Citizens Compass reported that the Competition will be held on Wednesday.

The Grand Finale will be held on before the month runs out.
