CITIZENS COMPASS— A United States-based pastor, Israel Ford, LifeWorks Church in Wickliffe, Ohio, has introduced his second wife to his congregation.
The announcement was made by the first wife of the pastor during a church service as the cleric publicly criticised monogamy.
This was captured in a trending video which has since generated reactions on social media.

The cleric also shared the video on his social media handles.
In the video, the first wife, Lydia Ford introduced her rival as Shakayla as the congregation cheered the family up.
The elated Shakayla walked majestically to the altar to join the pastor and the first wife giving them hugs.
Ford wrote on his Facebook page, “I would like to introduce to the world, my second wife, Shakayla Ford!!!”
“As a nation, we have been taught that a man should have one wife only. This is unbiblical.
“I encourage you to watch today’s sermon in its entirety (uploaded later this week). I understand that this is an unpopular truth that we have gotten away from and many Pastors will not preach,” he said.
Ford added that he would not bow to public opinion on the matter.
“I have no plans to choose pleasing man over what God has revealed.
“People may not accept this and choose to disconnect, and that is ok! This life will be over soon, and we can all laugh about it in Heaven. Until then, God bless.”
