Missing youth found dead after recreational outing in Lagos

CITIZENS COMPASS —A Lagos youth, Oluwaremilekun Hephzibah, who went missing after recreational activities at a private beach in Lagos has been found dead. 

An elder brother to the ddfessed gave the update in a series of videos posted online. 

Citizens Compass reported that the youth went missing after recreational activities with 15 other youths atAvista Beach Resort in the Ajah, Eti- Osa Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos. 

He reportedly went missing on Saturday, February 17, 2024. 

The youths are perceived to be members of a white garment church in the State. 

Recall that the victim’s relative took to social media to announce his dissaperance. 

“The above name is the name of the private beach situated in Okun Ajah in Eti- Osa LCDA where my brother, Pro Oluwaremilekun Hephzibah. Went with the youths(16 youths)of his parish  for a get together and he got missing without swimming at the beach yesterday evening 17/02/2024.                                 

“Nigerian should kindly come to my aids for the owner of the private beach and his cohort to release my brother Oriyomi Oluwaremilekun  Damilola who is also a member of our great party APC in ward C kosofe local govt Lagos.if found please Contact me 08039621744. “

In less than 24 hours, a 30 seconds video surfaced online with a background noise of an elder brother to the deceased crying for help.

*This is a lion’s den. This is the resort my brother Remilekun Oluwadamilola lodged into last night before he got missing. The government should come and take control and help us to investigate this. My brother is missing, this is a lion’s den. The hotel is in Ogombo. “

Another captured Oluwadamilola’s body lying on the beach sand striooed naked with some body organs missing and some parts of the flesh peeled suspected to be burnt from the left knee joint to the ankle. 

His trousers were removed down to the left ankle with head and face brutally battered up to the neck/chest area.

In the background was a suspected water wave and windy atmosphere.
