Obidients reply MC Oluomo’s threats
CITIZENS COMPASS– SUPPORTERS of Labour Party have called out the Chairman, Lagos State Parks and Management Committee, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya popularlly known as MC Oluomo over the threats that people should stay at home if they won’t vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
In his social media posts on Friday, March 17, 2023, Spokesperson, Peter Obi Vanguard (PoV), King Mario, lamented that despite various threats by MC Oluomo on non supporters of the ruling party, security operatives in Lagos State are yet to summon or call him to order.
Though Mario urged Peter Obi’s supporters to maintain peace on elections day but he said Oluomo.and his cohorts will be disappointed.
In the social media post titled, “MC Oluomo, Bring It On…”, Mario said, “It is no longer news that the Lagos State Chairman of “Agberos” – MC Oluomo has become untouchable and probably backed by the government. Hence, videos of his activities during the 25th of February election went viral, and till now, no caution, and no arrest made. This explains why he has come up again issuing another threat on the March 18th elections.
“We know that any alarm raised will get the response; *Go to Court.* MC Oluomo, bring it on. *”All die na die, na once pesin dey die”.* Come to the polls with your worst. You will surely meet your match. APC is not the only political party in Nigeria or the only party on election ballots. We, the Nigerian people shall surprise you. *It is a promise! Your juju and your boys and even guns go fail you, come!*
“Nigerians, go out and vote, without apologies, we will be the ones telling them to go to court. Because they are going to be shocked this time around. LAGOSIANS, GO OUT AND VOTE FOR A CANDIDATE OF YOUR CHOICE! If anyone dares to stop you… There are two types of water, hot and cold. MC Oluomo! It is better to remain cool than to wake up the beast in a gentle lion. BE WARNED!!!
“Finally, even though we know it is a waste of time. We call on the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Inspector General of Police, the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the International Community, and indeed, all Concerned Nigerians in the Diaspora to call MC OLUOMO and his thugs to order*, else, it shall be peace for peace, war for war. Don’t tell me that you have not seen or heard his actions and threats. THEY SHALL BE SERVED JUNGLE JUSTICE!!!”
A viral video had gone vital on Thursday, March 16, 2023, where Oluomo was seen addressing a meeting in Lagos, warning Lagosians ahead of the governorship election to stay at home if they won’t vote for APC.
“We have begged them. If they don’t want to vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them, mama Chukwudi,
“if you don’t want to vote for us, sit down at home. Sit down at home.”
Reacting, spokesperson of Biafra Radio, Simon Ekpa, said, “The threat against Ndigbo in Lagos may no longer be tolerated. We have not threatened any ethnic group in Biafraland except terrorists.
“I have just finished speaking with Chief Sunday Igboho on the phone about the attack against Ndigbo in Lagos, which he condemned in strongest.”
Ekpa said this on his verified Tweeter handle.
Social media users have since condemned the threats by MC Oluomo.
